Tribal people enjoy every moment, may it be a festival, marriages, childbirth, crop harvesting and the list is endless. They have different songs, dances and food for every occasion. They dress up for celebrations, which are very colourful and soulful. Dance and music is an integral part of their life and so a necessary part of our designs, especially if we are covering the tribal way of life
The essence of the existence of tribes is community living. In good times and bad, they help each other and include everyone. In all their festivals, rituals and habits a sense of togetherness prevails. They believe in ‘it takes a village to raise a kid’, something we forget as city dwellers. This concept is very much reflected in all the artworks.
Tribal people strongly believe in nature and coexisting with it. It is reflected in their lifestyle. They use surrounding for food, housing and learning. They worship mountains, rivers, forest and fire, which is reflected in their art forms as well. Each piece is individually made and machines are used in the process.

Wrought Iron handicraft is also known as “Pitva Art “ is an Ancient art form, made by a very small Tribal community of Bastar, Chhattisgarh. They use mostly waste or left out Iron pieces, cut them manually by chisel and hammer and heat it with charcoal. Mostly all the human and animal figures are made of a single piece of sheet by manual hammering work of a hot metal piece. To make a joint they use Rivets. NO Welding machine, cutting machine, mould are used to make an artefact and that makes it a true handicraft. When you touch and feel the product you can see the hard work behind each and every piece.
After making, each and every piece is treated with Red oxide to avoid Rust in future and then 3 layers of oil paint (Mat Finish) is done to finish the product. For the maintenance, in long run, we recommend gently clean it with Cotton and oil. Each and every piece will last for a lifetime.
